Frequently Asked Questions

What is an estate sale?

An estate sale is the professionally organized sale of the full or partial contents of a home, hosted on-site over the course of 1-2 days.  Hiring a professional to organize an estate sale is a great choice if you are moving, downsizing, or in need of someone to help you sell the contents of your home, your family member's home, or a furnished property you have acquired or inherited.

Why shop at an estate sale?

Estate sales are a great way to find high-quality items for your home at well-below retail prices. They're economical and eco-friendly. Plus, it's just a lot of fun to come to a sale and see what treasures you might find! The better question is: why buy retail?

What types of items are typically for sale?

Many people associate estate sales with large pieces of furniture and antique pieces, but estate sales typically include the entire contents of a home, from the basement to the attic and the garage. Depending on the sale, you may find everything from living room and bedroom furniture and antiques to artwork, rugs, clothing, towels and bedding, kitchen items, power tools, exercise equipment, sporting goods, musical instruments, cars and boats.

Do you deliver?

Not at this time.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, we accept cash, check, and all major credit cards at our sales.

Are you insured?

Yes, we are fully insured against any damage that may occur to your property during the setup or running of a sale. We also carry liability and workman's comp insurance.

I'm interested in an item I saw online. How much is it? Can I buy it before the sale?

We don't advertise or privately give out the prices of items online or offer items for sale before the first day of the sale itself. This is to ensure fairness for everyone involved. Items posted online are available for sale first-come, first-serve for patrons who are there in person on the first day of the sale. If you're interested in an item you see online, the best way to ensure that you get a chance to buy it is to arrive at the sale early on the first day.
